Showbiz411 is reporting that rising star Michael Fassbender (300, Inglorious Basterds, Lake Eden) is being persued for roles in both Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class and Marc Webb’s Spider-Man reboot.
The role of Magneto awaits in X-Men, the Spider-Man part is not known at this point. The only snag? Scheduling means that Fassbender would have to chose which of the two roles he wants – there’s apparently not enough time for both.
Personally, I hope he goes for Magneto – I can easily see him in that role.
We’ll keep an eye on this one…
